Hemline Two-Bag Trolley Set Review

I have a small house, and I do not have my own sewing room (bummer); so, storage is a major hassle for me. I do not like hard vinyl sewing machine cases (they are just ugly and not all machines fit in all cases - I know, I got stuck with a few).I have to keep my machine and sewing supplies in my living room; so, I was THRILLED when I found a beautiful sewing machine case - with an extra bag (which holds everything - or it can even be used to carry my laptop if I am traveling, or act as a piece of luggage). This second piece holds any extra supplies, tools, or "works in progress".I LOVE THIS SET!

Reasons to buy this Trolley Set are numerous, but for me, here are my top two:

1. It's very attractive, and I bought the burgundy set since it blended in with my furniture (ok, not a great reason for seasoned seamstresses, but for me it was!);

2. This set is HUGE! I can safely store my old Baby-Lock 1550 in there, plus my coordinating canvas thread case, which can also found at JoAnn Fabrics. This extra thread case (purchased separately for about $15) holds about 20 spools of thread, plus: my bobbin collection, scissors, etc. AND it as several "see-thru" pockets to store other things, too.

The Trolley Set is FULL of hidden pockets (and it's extremely well-cushioned with added support panels to keep my machine safe) to store all kinds of stuff and STILL has room for my cutting mats (behind my sewing machine, where I also keep my thread case).

Honestly, I can put EVERYTHING I need inside the one wheeled bag alone, and the extra bag is a "gift" to hold everything else.

When I go over to a friend's house to sew, I have EVERYTHING right at my fingertips; plus, I look good when traveling, too. At home, the trolley set is very convenient and also helps to keep me organized.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!I'd very highly recommend it to anyone (even if they DO have a very nice, large, and elaborate sewing room).

For me, I call this "my portable sewing room" and I LOVE IT!

Just a final comment: There are "other bags" out there that MAY LOOK like this... but Hemline's superior design and construction set it WORLD'S APART. Never compromise!

Carry and Cover Sewing Case - Blue/ Brown Review

I bought this case at a Target store. It was marked down because it was very dirty, but it wiped clean with water andwith no difficulty. The only thing I would suggest is to measure your machine before buying. It said "Singer" on the cardboard wrapping. I have a Singer, but it wouldn't fit until I removed my upper thread holders. I love it because it is easy to pick up and it holds my presser foot and accessories.

Hemline Sewing Machine Trolley Bag Review

Nice Trolley.Would have given 5 stars except I am very disappointed in the color.I would not call it Burgundy.I don't even see any Burgundy in it.The design is largely orange and red on a black background and not a pretty fabric, but it appears sturdy and will serve the purpose.

Hemline Deluxe Sewing Machine Trolley- Cream Review

This is a fantastic piece of "sewing luggage".It makes transporting my sewing machine so much easier and much more secure than a plastic case.I don't know why people are saying the extension pull handle breaks unless they are trying to lift with it which shouldn't be done anyway.This trolley has a handle on top sewen very securly and two side handles the same making lifting and moving to and from the car very easy.The extension handle is great for rolling the maching to the location. It is roomy w/ outside pocket, security strap inside to keep the machine from moving and padding. It is a great product. Highly recommend!

Cover Sewing Machine- Review

The cover is really well made.However, it did not fit my Viking Emerald Sewing machine.I was disappointed, but I believe it is my own fault I should have measured may machine.

Singer 611 Universal Carrying Case Review

I got this carry case per Amazon's recommendation to go with the Singer 6038 machine.While it's functional, it's very basic and doesn't allow the machine to be integrated into it like the case I have for my old White - you have to remove the machine from this case to use it.Also, the pedal for the machine I bought has to be shoved between the arm and the needle in order to get the case closed, which worries me.The fit is poor - it's a slightly protective dust cover and carrying case and not much else.
Now that I think about it, it's not even that comfortable to carry (and down it goes from 3 to 2 stars) - it was a poor engineer who decided to make the underside of the handle (you know, where all the weight presses on your fingers) a bunch of thin ribs of plastic.So instead of hanging on to a nice solid surface, you're gripping this things that's trying to bluntly slice your fingers into 1/8 inch strips.Sure, it's strong, but it's exceedingly uncomfortable to carry any distance.I'll have to wrap mine with some padded vinyl or somesuch.
In short, it does the job, but not especially well.

After reading reviews for other cases, referencing issues with flimsiness or such a big size the machine would bang around, I went with this case.And I'm very happy I did.

My new Brother CS6000, with the attachments, fits nicely into the case:set the machine in, poke the foot pedal and cords in, put the top on, snap it into place.The plastic and latches seem sturdy, and the whole package is not too heavy to carry around.

Brother 5300 Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case Review

This case is ugly and very cheap looking.It is also way too big for my standard sewing machine.My machine knocks around inside of it, defeating the purpose of a protective case. I did not want to give this item even one star, but the system just works that way.
