Walking Even Feed Presser Foot Review

I am very upset with this seller. I placed a order the walking foot about a weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. I was excited to open the package because I really wanted to finish my quilt blankit as fast as I can.

Opening the package, I felt something wrong with the walking foot. I got USED DUSTED, SCRACHED WALKING FOOT!!

How could he send this to costomer? How DARE he sent this to me???? huh

I took pictures of the product and I am going to post them soon.
I don't want to pay for this kind of product.

This is the worst puchsing and the worst seller ever!!!

The walking foot is a moving feed system that holds and moves fabric between the presser foot's upper feed dog and the machines's lower feed dogs to better control difficult fabrics as well as multiple layers of fabric. The walking foot is great for quilting, sewing when matching prints or plaids or fabric drift is an issue . Brother SA127 5mm Narrow Hem Foot Review

I bought this (and the distinctive narrow hem foot which is the same thing so stay away from that too imo)and tried to use it on anything.It will only work on lightweight fabrics and even then the stitching is hard to look uniform.The stitches look wonky and the hem is incredibly small (5mm or less).I decided to just go for it and get the "distinctive" rolled hem foot set which has seven different and USEFUL sized hems (like 1/4" and 5/8", etc.)and give you a chance to keep those hems clean and professional looking.It is $50 for the set, but i am so much happier to have hemming feet that actually work!

Brother SA538 Seam Guide Review

This product only works on Innov-is4000d or other Innov-is machines.I read on the amazon specifications that it works with the 6000 series so i assumed it would work with my cs-6000i sewing machine, but there isn't a screw hole to install it on the needle plate.Wish the information was accurate.

I have used all these attachments for several weeks now; since I am new to sewing I took my time in learning how to use them.First of all they are metal, and sturdy and very well made. I have a Brother LS2521i and they fit perfectly. The rolled hem attachments are awesome, a must have.Your hems come out perfect.The Binder foot was a little tricky to use, but that was my lack of experience since I tried to use a jersey fabric that was too thick and the width of the strip of fabric I was using for bias tape was too wide. After measuring correctly and watching some videos I found in YouTube on using that same attachment it finally worked (after quite a few tries).

The EdgeSticher foot was also a little tricky to use, but again reading the directions several times and finally finding a YouTube video did the trick.Also a very useful foot to have!

I have a book called The Sewing Machine Attachment Handbook by Charlene Phillips that helped me immensely to choose the sewing foot atachments I needed.

Bottom line, they are very nice and do their job.As far as the Binder foot, I might just buy or make bias tape and use the other Distinctive Tape-Sticher presser foot to attach it.

The only thing I wish it had was a nice case like the other Distinctive foot sets.

11 Piece Sewing Machine Foot Kit Review

This set is great, it has the most commonly used feet, such as buttonhole, button foot, narrow hem foot, zipper foot, a low shank adapter, a quilt guide, a seam ripper,blind stitch foot, among others, but after I bought it here on Amazon from this seller, i went to Ebay and saw this same set a little cheaper and with the addition of the cording foot,which is not on this set, but overall this set is a good buy for the price and it iscompatible with most snap on style sewing machine feet, and if not it comes with the adaptor, overall recommended!!!

Brother SA107 Walking Foot Review

For anyone who owns a sewing machine, I would say this foot is a MUST HAVE. There are times when nothing else will substitute.
I am a seamstress and own 6 sewing machines. Two I have lent to daughters, so I have three I use alternatively, depending on my project, plus we have a heavy-duty machine. Recently, my husband purchased a Brother. I was surprised and asked him why he did that since we already have four other machines.
He is a boat-builder and wanted to try his hand at sewing the sail for it. He purchased the Dacron sail-cloth. It is such a heavy-weight processed cloth that pinning it is next to impossible. He discovered a specialized double-stick tape that works, but it is so slippery, the poor little Brother machine was not able to handle this alone, so I purchased this walking foot.
It has made all the difference. I have a picture of him on the floor, sail cloth surrounding him, taking up most of our front room, foot pedal in one hand, along with the cloth, the other hand behind the machine, feeding the cloth through as he sews this difficult piece. I am so proud of him for his efforts and excellent work. He truly feels he couldn't have done what he did without that walking foot.

Brother SA109 1/4 Inch Binding Foot Review

The product looks great, but it doesn't work with all Brother machines as Amazon advertises. It does not work with my Brother LS-1217 because my presser foot is all one-piece. Furthermore, there was no customer service info. where I could call for help, so I wasted time trying to figure out how to attach it before I finally got a chance to go on the Brother website, where it lists the same product with an extensive list of compatible machines, which did not include, as I had begun to suspect, my LS-1217.I love Amazon, but the information is wrong. I recommend going to the Brother website to check if it works with your machine before you purchase it.

I had never done free-motion quilting before I bought this. It was super easy to attach to my Brother sewing machine. It took me a little bit of practice to get the hang of it (I did stipple quilting on a baby quilt) but it wasn't that hard. It did make a squeaking noise while I sewed. I'm not sure if it was my machine or the foot. I recommend getting some quilting gloves that help you grip the fabric as you move it. My hands and wrists got sore from gripping the fabric for so long.
