Brother LS1520 21-Stitch Function Free-Arm Sewing Machine with Automatic 4-Step Buttonholer Review

Tension was perfect right out of the box. It is plastic cased, so I am treating it gingerly compared to the hefty metal machine on which I learned to sew. Very easy to thread and wind bobbins. The manual has very clear illustrations. However, it requires some flipping through as each series of steps is printed in several languages. Very enjoyable, and I look forward to using it. I hope with care it lasts a good long time.

Simplicity S07 Deco Mate Sewing Machine Review

I bought this machine when my mother's old Singer finally gave out, because it was all I could afford, but I've been absolutely delighted. It works every bit as good as the (much, even though it was purchased back in the 70s!) more expensive Singer it replaced and is much more user-friendly. It's quite portable and lighter than a lot of models for taking to sewing class. Highly recommend it. Would be a great gift for a new seamstress, such as a teen learning to sew

Brother LS2125 25-Stitch Function Free Arm Sewing Machine Review

I can only sew with a basic ability. I needed a machine to save time on basic repairs and very simple projects that took too long to sew by hand. This machine was very easy to learn and use. I am not overwhelmed with options that I dont know how to use anyway. I have only run into a few problem (all caused by me) and I was able to figure out what I had done wrong easily. It is a great machine for learning or for someone who only needs to sews on occasion.
