Strong mechanism. Two issues are: measurement conflicts on the design diagram, and in the initial break-in period the roller bearings will wear down the painted surface they travel against and the paint will chip off unevenly impeding the free travel of the mechanism without a little helpful push with your hand. Once all the paint is worn off it travels normally though. In general a good mechanism, but I hope it gets engineering updates.

If you are looking for a great little sewing table, this is it.It's stout, a good height and a nice size.I had previously purchased a nice wooden sewing table with expandable sides, so that it looked like a piece of furniture.The reality was that it wasn't stout enough to handle the sewing machine so it was very uncomfortable to sew.This fit my needs perfectly and I'm very happy with it.
